Maybe I shouldn’t become a professional golfer…

Happy Monday! Hope everyone’s weeks are off to a great start!

This weekend I got to try something I have been wanting to try for months…Top Golf! I had been wanting to go ever since it opened, but had heard it’s super expensive and waiting time is usually about 2-3 hours. Turns out, it’s actually very reasonably priced and we arrived at the perfect time and only had to wait about 20 minutes for our bay to be ready.

For those of you who are not familiar, Top Golf is an entertertainment complex. Obviously the biggest attraction is golf, but they do have other games  and a bar (which are perfect for those long wait times). You are allowed 6 people per bay and pay by the hour (it’s $40/hour so divided by 6 people that’s not bad at all). Like bowling, you take turns teeing off, but unlike bowling, you can go in any order and skip around so if one person is way more into it or someone wants to take a break, that is completely okay. The balls are microchipped and you receive immediate feedback and receive points based on distance and accuracy.

They also serve drinks and food in the bays. We ordered some pitchers and split a few appetizers for the group. The sweet potato fries were amazing, but then again I just always love sweet potato fries haha.

I am horrible at golf, but still think it is so much fun! No one in our group was particularly amazing, so we just had a good time laughing at each other. Also, the Masters were on while we were there, so that was fun to watch, but it definitely made us feel even worse about our lack of golfing skills.

Based on this picture, I should probably not drop out of school to become a pros signal golfer haha.

Now I would love to hear from you!

Have you ever been to Top Golf?  (They are popping up in cities all over the U.S., so check to see if there’s one near you!)

What did you do this weekend?
